We walked into Katina’s Tuscany Tour Bike store looking to hire bikes for a day and walked out having booked a full day tour out to Lago de Massaciuccoli. We arrived at the store on the morning of the ride and got fitted to our ebikes. The bikes were new and had a pouch on the handle bars for your phone/camera and a pinyon bag on the back for water, bags, coats etc. The ride was mainly on cycle paths and back roads and mostly flat with a few hills thrown in. The countryside was picturesque with so many photo stops. Katina is an excellent guide either stopping or riding beside us telling us about the area we were travelling through. She is very knowledgeable and passionate about her job, very easy to get along with and answered all our questions which were many. An excellent tour and one of our major highlights of our 6-week holiday. We only wish we had longer in Lucca to do one of her travel tours. Highly recommend her tours.

This s great activity for a family even with kids. I have a 9 year old and a 12 year old and they both enjoyed. THe e-bikes make it easy to do any kind of terrain and basic biking skill level is all that is required. 

We rode around the Lucca wall and saw an ancient aqueduct, which is a very unique experience if you live in North America.

Katina even takes pictures and videos for free.

we are a Belgian family of 5 and we were looking for an active day out to finish our holiday week in Lucca.  By accident we ended up in Karina’s bike store.  The next day she took us on an e-bike tour around the Lucca hills.  Nothing was too much for her... from taking pictures and videos, telling us stories about Lucca and herself.   She was also very patient with ‘la mama’...  who needed some adaptation time to the e-bike... real value for money, a real recommendation. And an afternoon the kids will talk about for a long time.  Many thanks Karina for the afternoon and for sure we go for another tour when we are in the neighbourhood.

Karina guided a big group of us with a mixed range of cycling abilities on a very enjoyable bike riding day out. Karina was very helpful with the planning and everything ran smoothly on the day. Thoroughly recommend the experience, the e-bikes were ideal for balancing out each of the riders & the kids loved them. 

I'm from Porto Alegre - RS, southern Brazil. The bicycle is part of my daily life, I usually ride a bike to go work and move around the city during the week. At weekends, I change my urban bike for another hybrid bike to realize tours and small trips. I was in Italy for a month and I admit that when I arrived in Tuscany, I looking for a possibility of realizing one dream: to know the hills, vineyards, villages and landscapes from the perspective of the bicycle. I traveled alone, by train, and did many walks. Walking through Lucca, I try the bike stores to get information about bicycle rentals and tours. I knew that without a group it would be harder to fit this into my script. Then, I was very happy when Karina promptly answered me in Spanish, which facilitated our communication because I still do not speak Italian. We combined two tours around Lucca, and she as a guide made sure to accompany me even if we did not have a group. It was a special Saturday and Sunday, with different tours in which I first tried an e-bike, a model that has not yet arrived in Brazil. As an experienced rider, I can say that I felt free to trigger the feature that drives the pedaling only when I found it necessary, enjoying a quiet ride. They are very comfortable and safe bikes that make it easier on longer climbs. I hope to soon return and plan longer trips in the company of the Tuscany Bike Tour team.

Karina took a group of 6 of us on an electric bike tour from Lucca and through the stunning countryside to a winery where we got to taste the local wine and have a lovely lunch. We did a circular route and then cycled round the walls of Lucca to finish off. The bikes were brilliant (we all want an electric bike now!) the scenery was gorgeous, and there were plenty of opportunities to have pictures and video taken. We are from England and unfortunately our Italian is very basic, but Karina spoke really good English and answered all our questions knowledgeably. We had a real giggle whilst learning a lot about the local area. We would all highly recommend Karina and Tuscan Tour Bike to cyclists of all ages and abilities. 

I was fortunate enough to meet the owner of this fabulous company while she gracious guided me through the beautiful Cinque Terre region. We hit it off, Karina is so passionate about her work, bubbly, fun, smart and kind with so much information to share, she makes all her adventures unique and personal. I spent 3 weeks in Lucca Italy doing chef training and had about 5 days off in that time, and I chose to spend most of those days, touring around the region by bike with Karina and the various other people that joined her fabulous tours.  It’s such a unique way to really see the region. The E-Bikes allow access by all fitness levels and ages to her tours. You can’t go wrong with Karina and her fabulous Bike Tours, I am forever grateful to all that she shared with me on our travels around Tuscany. Definitely worth stopping by to book a tour, no better way to see Tuscany. 

I am from Canada and when my wife and I stayed in Lucca for the month of March, I wanted to bike a few times around the wall and hopefully in the countryside. 

Our first day I came upon Tuscanytourbike and used them each time. The staff were so friendly, prices reasonable, with great looking and great working bikes.

The owner Karina took us on a 3 hour tour of the countryside one morning. She was very knowledgeable and so much fun.
